Bah... Hit and run.

So some a$$clown hit my parked car last night. Tore the driver's side mirror clean off.

Where to start to get a replacement?

Nope not done on accident...

Neighbor said they say a black truck hit it, pull over, check their own car for damage then they took off. I live on a busy 2 lane street and just last week someone plowed into a car across the street.

The verdict is in... $300 for a used mirror assembly w/paint and installation at the local body shop.

BTW... dealer part prices range from $240 - $300 just for the mirror assembly.

That sucks, but glad it was just the mirror. If you're on a narrow street, think about folding the mirror inward whenever you park it.
