Leaves in the engine.

Hello so i just finished washing the car and wiping down the engine bay when i noticed there was a rectangular hole right below the engine cover where the timing cover is. I bust out a flashlight and find a lot of leaves in there. Anyone else notice this? Is there a way where I can remove all those leaves?

Not my engine bay but this would be easier to see where its at.

You could probably just take a water hose and blast them out the back. The back is just open to the firewall and top of the transmission housing.

I don't know about spraying that much water all over the engine.

If you have access to an air compressor I would try blowing the leaves out that way. Shop vac might also help.

Let's just trade engines, zero leaves over here. Must be a defect, you don't need that in your life.

(edit) nvm joke fail that's not your motor.

1/2 way useful suggestion: Buy a can of compressed air w/ the straw on it, and try to blow the leaves out.

I doubt very seriously the leaves will cause any damage to your car, but I have not seen any shop manuals on how this engine is assembled so I dont even know what's in there.
