It is a sad day when my dad calls me a b**** for keeping my I N F I N I T I letters on the back of the trunk and the g35x. He said it looks better without, and I think so too. How did you guys remove those? Are there marks after u remove them?

I had two small holes left over from removing the Mt Fuji logo and it's going to cost me $300 to get them filled and the trunk painted.

Depending on how old your car is, you might have the outline of the letters left on your trunk.

use a thin fishing line better, dental floss tends to rip faster
then remove residue with goo gone
wax/polish

I used a steamer, fishing line, clay bar and wax. Got mine done in under 15 minutes. Holes are behind the Mt Fuji emblem on the 03-04 sedans only.

I just used goo gone (sit for 2-3min) and a rigid nylon spatula, which removes residue (with more goo gone) without scratching (safe for non-stick sufaces!) too. Heat gun isn't necessary, but can help reduce the amount of residue you have to remove.

Follow up with paint cleaner/polish/wax and you're good to go.

WD-40 and floss or fishing line.

I've been meaning to debage mine for some time, but some crazy part of me thinks it looks better with the letters on. I've done some photoshops and still can't make up my mind.

This statement is false. The earlier sedans have holes behind the Mt. Fuji.
I've seen numerous 05-06 sedans with Mt. Fuji debadged and there are no holes.
There are also 03-04 sedans without holes. I believe the sedans that have holes behind the Mt. Fuji emblem are the sedans with the "doggy door" trunks.

But, removing the emblems are simple.
1. Heat the emblems with a blow-dryer. A heat gun can do damage if too hot or left too long. This step isn't actually necessary, but it helps.
2. Dental floss or thin fishing line. Take a good length, wedge it under a letter, pull back and forth while pulling upwards.
3. Adhesive residue will remain. Use some "Goo Gone". I used cotton swabs and soaked 'em with Goo Gone. I dabbed the Goo Gone all over any adhesive and made sure it absorbed as much without having too much drip. I let the Goo Gone sit about 5 minutes.
4. Use a microfiber towel and carefully rub the remaining adhesive off.
5. Wash surface and dry.

Remaining steps are optional but doing so will completely get rid of any silhouette or emblem outlines.
6. Clay-bar. Decent ones can be bought off the shelves at supermarkets or auto-stores. This will prep the surface for polishing/compounding.
7. Polish. This is best done with a buffer. An orange cutting pad or white polishing pad with a medium-to-light abrasive polish/compound will remove any emblem outline or silhouette. If you don't have one, borrow one from a friend or find a local detailer. They won't charge much to buff off the trunk.
8. Seal/Wax. Use a good sealant or wax. There are a few decent ones available off the shelves.

I'm so lost... Can someone for sure tell if the 05-06 Sedan has holes behind the Mt. Fuji? Please, because most people say their is, and there's a few that insist there isn't.

No all first gen sedans have rivets holding the mt. fuji on.

Doggy doors have them bolted directly into the doggy door.

The ones you have seen have been debadged then re-patched, then painted. (trunk shaving)
