I wanted to start this thread to gauge interest on a molded lip spoiler trunk lid for the 03-06 sedans much like the DoriLuxe lids that are being produced for the coupes right now.

If there is enough interest from this thread, a second sign up thread will be created in which we will need 10 commited buyers to start the project.

I am still trying to source a trunk lid so the mold can be crafted and made. We will also need a sedan (possibly be using mine) to test fit the mold to make sure the fitment is right and tight

If the project is a go, the trunk lid will be offered in the following:
~ Half Carbon Fiber (top only)
~ Fiberglass with a Carbon Fiber lip
~ Full Fiberglass

It takes approximately 3 weeks to create a trunk like this once a doner trunk lid is found and a sponsor sedan can be used to fine tune the fitment.

No worries Kris. Give it another day. If there is no real void to be filled, this can be scrapped and maybe picked up some other time.

 

No, not a group buy. This is mearly a thread to see if there is enough interest to pursue a trunk like this for the sedans.

The price point will be similar to the one being made for the coupe. Possibly a bit more as the sedan lid requires the sections to be cut/smoothed out for the reverse lights.

"Approximate Pricing"
500-550 for Fiberglass
650-700 for Fiberglass with just Carbon Fiber lip
750-800 for top only Carbon Fiber

Chris: I like the trunk and I think it looks good. My problem is the lack of money! But we have ballers on here so I'm sure you list will fill up tonight.

^I'm in IT too and I work for the government so it's even worse (well better from an employee stand point ) but I get all my projects done and ahead of schedule so I have time to play I guess
