Feeler: Anyone want a seibon style hood?
Hey guys, i jus spoke with Kris79 with Mach III, and he said that he is willing to make us a hood. There arent really any aftermarket hoods out there for the sedan. All of us can decide on what type of hood we should get. This is a great opportunity for us to show vendors that we want more parts for our cars.
The hood will be differnt between the 03-04 and the 05-06, so just write down what year your car is.
Any input will be appreciated. Lets make this happen. I cant view photobucket right now, so ill post up pics later. If anyone else wants to post pics, they are welcome too.

it'll look the same.......without having to get hood pins....and with perfect fitment.
You get a fiberglass hood, you're gonna paint it anyway. If you're gonna pay to paint either way, it's more worthwhile to use the money you use to pay for the hood and get the vents molded into your hood and then repaint. For the sole benefit of not having to pay and use hood pins, pefect fitment, etc.
Now if this is for carbon, then that's a different story

From everything I've read on here our OEM hoods are so light that to remake them in carbon fiber just isn't economical. To make it worthwhile in replacing you should definitely add other features such as venting.
