Picking up an 04 6MT on thursday
I like the rear emblem that way. Maybe you could try the 1" lower trick. (break off pins, and cover the holes with the top of the emblem)
The front one would look better either chrome or DG, IMO.
You should smoke your blinkers. That's a fairly easy mod that would go nicely.

Is that nighthawk black pearl? Doesn't that have a navy blue flake in it?
I just some acura headlights with that colour, I'm assuming you got the duplicolor match in a can stuff?

found a can of it in advance auto, i wanted something a little sparkly
Do you see much of the blue on such a small item? or does it just look like a metal flake black?
The headlights even with the flat surfaces were really hard to see the blue (and they weren't done with the rattle cans
)

Good for you! Don't get heavy wheels. Tony from Motordyne did a test and 20's lost something like 10-12whp over stock wheels. Lighter than stock wheels gained 6-8whp. I have OEM 16s on my car, it's weird, I know, and they feel great. When I put on stock 17in coupe wheels, my car felt sluggish.
NOOOO!
Btw, how do you like that Apexi muffler? I would just get a proper cat-back. I know you're on a budget, but the right cat-back will make a difference. Also, if you want a cheap tune, Hypertech has a programmer that you can use on your car. They say it's good for like 10-15whp, and you can get it for $350-450 new.
Finally, I have a buddy with a similar setup to your old RSX and we were pretty similar from a roll. I have an auto, but I have a couple of small OEM style mods than aren't listed with the mods in my sig. I'm still trying to get this damn Hypertech calibration to work after two months.
Nice car!
P.S. Maybe you should treat the back side skirts with some back to black. Congrats on that new engine, lol, lucky.

wow knew there would be someone on here that would appreciate my light wheels..lol. If I do get 18s they will be forged light ones, as of right now it isn't a priority.
The Apexi muffler was sort of a bordom/sound mod, I found a used one and just assumed it was straight through like the new ones I was looking at but it showed up and it was chambered so I figured it couldn't be worse then stock so i had my friend use his muffler shop connection to weld it on for me, probably stupid in retrospect, but it does sound slightly better then stock I think...hard to tell really I should take a video. Problem with it is that it sticks out too far. As far as power gains I doubt it. I may get a full catback one day(probably stillen gen 2) but besides the money I'm worried about making the car annoyingly loud on the highway. The Apexi is probably due for a vid.
My RSX actually ran a similar time to your car something like 14.39@99.75 with a 2.3 60 ft, I had a better run with a 2.2 60 ft and 9.2@79 1/8th but kpro hit lean protection on the shift to 4th(you are supposed to shut that off when you are racing because shifting can fool it) and I ended up running 14.9@75..lol. so that probably would have been a 14.2. Everyone else said they got better times with those mods, idk.
I probably will get around to some more bolt ons and a tune at some point, right now my fiancee and I are getting a house so thats the priority. Also when I lived on long island there seemed like more reasons to do bolt ons because there were people driving around who gave a crap, in upstate ny everyone just drives rusty grand ams. Although there is an 1/8th mile track about 20 mins from me, I want to try that out one of these days.
what do you suggest for the side skirts?
any pics of your car on 16s?

Mother's back to black is a great product for the side skirts. It will have to be reapplied over time but it really brings back the like new look for all black trim pieces.
