It's doesn't come off, I'm not sure why they designed it like that.

You know why you G got hit and the RSX was never touched? Most thieves think that a modded car with have a pressure sensitive alarm so they don't even bother. What appears to be a stock sedan is usually some businessman who still has stock alarm (no sensors) and leaves all his fun stuff in the car (GPS, Phone etc)

Sometimes it pays to be modded.

Since you're getting a new engine have you thought about going supercharged or turbo? Now it the time to do it while the engine has no wear.

You're looking at running low 13s maybe high 12s with all bolt ons. Including final drive cams and pulleys the whole deal and that probably about 5-7 grand. When you could skip all that and be running low 12s with a turbo set up

update...car is in the shop for new vq. they gave me a loaner 08 g35x which im gonna have a hard time giving back between the engine, the interior and the push button start which is much more awesome then I thought it would be since u can just unlock the door by pressing the button on the handle, dont have to fumble for keys. idk...great improvments...feels too fat though, but i love the way the engine revs to 7800 so smoothly its like a k20 with torque
