Feeling Slow, Advice
Speedometers lag bad, I tested this with my Trans-Am, I knew exactly the speed I would hit redline in 2nd (math, etc) and watched the speedometer on a WOT run. Hit the rev limiter a full 10 MPH before I should have, it was lagging by that much. It wasn't 10 MPH off, it was dead on cruising, but in quick acceleration, a speedometer will tell you nothing.
And the G is a different car with the TCS off!

That can't be it. You would hear him yelling at himself for revving up his engine!

I use snow mode on dry pavement. And I just read the following in the manual, not sure what to make of it.
Starting and driving 5-23
WARNING: Never drive on dry hard surface roads in the SNOW mode, as this will over load the powertrain and may cause a serious malfunction.
I've never used it on dry pavement, but sometimes when we get a storm it will be on for the weekend as i drive around on snow and slush covered roads. When the roads finally dry up and i turn it off, it feels MUCH more responsive.
If he did the runs in dallas in the past month is wasnt hot. Its been in the 20s the past wk and i dont think over 60 in the past 6 wks. If you find a dyno in dallas or track let me know. i curious also
