HR y pipe?

my o4 sedan has a fujita intake, a coupe mid pipe and the blitz nurspec exhaust and i was wondering if the hr y pipe would make a difference in power or sound.. im either gonna get the hr y pipe or a plenum spacer soon. any thoughts?

with that blitz, it's already so loud the changes of HR would be so subtle you won't notice it. But yes it does change the sound. As far as power gains, you probabaly will not notice a big difference either, but the HR Y pipe is a better flowing alternative to the DE. My point is, it wouldn't hurt, but there are no proven HP gains. Now with the spacer, you'll get some pretty good gains with that. Deeper growl from the engine bay as well.

All these answers can be found if you search the sedan section.

As for power gains:
Motordyne has dyno charts of what their spacers can do and there is a dyno chart of the HR y pipe in the exhaust section.

As for sound:
Most ppl on here said the HR y pipe made the exhaust sound deeper.
Not sure on the spacer.

motordyne's claim of power is somewhat inflated.

I'd get both. But if it's either/or, get the spacer and keep an eye out for the HR Y. someone posted a dyno and the HR had some encouraging results.

Actually to think of it, being that the HR is so hard to find for a reasonable price I would get one when you had the opportunity. The spacer will always be avaliable.
