Clear corners question...

I don't have the directions in how to install this, but I do have what may sound like a stupid question. Should I disconnect the battery before changing these lights?

Re: Clear corners question...

Nope. Just make sure the car is off. That's all I did and it was a breeze.

Re: Clear corners question...

You just take a flat head screw driver and pop em out...un plug em...plug the new ones in and pop em back in...they snap in and out so don't be afraid to use some elbow greese.

The only stupid question is the one that goes unasked.

Re: Clear corners question...

I don't even use a screwdriver. Just use your fingers and pull the side marker at the rearmost point (in the wheelwell) and they'll pop right out. No need to risk scratching something with a metal screwdriver :-)

Good Point...but if I even have to worry, I wrap a paper towel around the head to prevent scratches.

Re: Clear corners question...

Just installed mine this afternoon. No screwdriver needed. Just pull the end nearest the wheel out from the car. 30 second job. Now I have to get some brighter lights for them.

Do you need to change the light bulb as well. I thought the side
markers HAD to be yellow?

Good question? I just ordered mine and was wondering if I needed to get new bulbs.
