05 G35 Sedan squeaky/creaking issue

Hi everyone,

I have been having problems with my car lately so I decided to take it to a dealer soon.

Basically the main problems are:
(1) Creaking noise from rear window while driving (going over rough road or bumps)
(2) Squeaky/creaking noise from rear seat while driving.
(3) Left low-beam not working (due to ballast most likely since I tried replacing buld but did not fix the problem)

Now, the first problem, I searched for it and found a TSB on it (ITB05-034). But for the rear seat issue, I could not find any. Actually, from my research, it seems like there is a TSB for it for previous model year, but not for 05.

Does anyone know the TSB number for rear seat squeaky/creaking issue (regardless of model year)? In that way I can at least have it as a reference and try to convince the dealer to fix it under warranty (luckily my warranty is still there... until September 15th 2009).

If anyone can respond ASAP, that would be great. Thanks~

rattle city...

Get used to it... Unfortunately, it only gets better as the car gets older. Like many of us have already done: invest in some foam and felt tape. Just spend a weekend hunting them down. I still have a mysterious rattle/vibration somewhere under my dash on the passenger side. Who knows...

The only squeaking/creaking I have is from the center console around the shift ***... Just haven't had time to pull it apart and fix it yet. The dealer is pretty much worthless in fixing these in my experience over the many cars I've had.

Creaking windows has a TSB, some bolts in the door are to long causing the issue. I dont know about the seat.

I got the rear window noise fixed under warranty. Post above me explains the issue. Don't have any problems with rear seat yet. Mine is 05 as well.
