Add in a mild 1 to 1.5" drop, stiffer shocks, and maybe a rear sway bar and the handling and overall feel will improve dramatically.

Yesterday I took delivery of a GT Spec rear tie bar and a coupe middy... To be installed soon!
I will be painting the bar silver and may put it on tonight if I have time. Pics for sure.
As far as the coupe middy, it's a bit rusty so I'm going to take it to a local shop to have it bead blasted and then I'll recoat it with some silver high temp paint.
I wanted to have my stock muffler bead blasted too, but I can't really be without my car and all those shops are only open from Monday thru Friday, so I'll prolly paint it myself. Any suggestions on what would look best? Flat black? I know there is a thread about some guys stripping and polishing the muffler, but I'm not so sure I want to put that much effort into it. I'd much rather have it bead blasted, and if I can swing it I will.

Don't waste your money. Take a power sander and pull off the rust. Tack cloth it, hit with a good primer that can handle rust, and then paint with a high temp engine paint. Do the same with the OEM muffler. I painted my OEM muffler flat black. I hate seeing mufflers hanging out the back of a car, polished chrome or not.

^ Thanks! I do think the bar looks better painted silver.
Speaking of the bar, and I may be completely crazy (so I've been told), but backing out of the driveway this morning I did noticed that a couple of small creaks were non-existent. It may be all in my head and if so then that is just fine with me. If for nothing, my girlfriend said the bar looks cool. I gotta think that either the mid 4 point brace or the strut bar and front lower tie brace could be even better. I'm leaning towards the front lower tie bar next, maybe the strut bar if I can find one used that fits.
I'll be sanding down the midpipe and muffler though this weekend. Thanks for the tips DaveB. I'm picking up the exhaust gaskets today from the dealer and by Sunday I'll have it all together. Pics to come!
P.S. I'm sure there are some peeps out there that think this thread is totally ghay... Whatever. If someone gleens even one tip out of this process then it was worth it in my opinion.

Did your car have creaks, squeaks, rattles before you put on the 350evo sway and tie bar?
I understand a lil stiffness is good for daily driving handling but just wondering how you would benefit from a adding a strut bar and or a 4 point brace?
Not questioning on your mods so hope you not getting mad, just wondering if i could benefit from these items.
