^ Naw not mad at all. Yes it does have a few creaks/squeaks. I can tell when I pull out of my driveway. Doing this creates torsion or chassis twist on the car. That's the best time to hear the offenders. Stiffening the chassis prevent this torsion or helps sturdy it rather, thus preventing the interior creaking. Not to mention it just makes the car feel overall tighter and more planted.
If I can eliminate a few creaks by adding a few cheap bars, then I'm all for it!

For the stock rims, I'd suggest the OEM size. Tire brand wise, that's open for debate. I've really liked my Pirelli PZeros on my aftermarket 18s, but pretty much anything that's a z or w-rated summer only tire with a sub 300 wear rating is going to handle really good and will make a huge improvement, especially if you're on the OEM RSAs.
Add in a mild 1 to 1.5" drop, stiffer shocks, and maybe a rear sway bar and the handling and overall feel will improve dramatically.

I installed the GTSPEC front strut bar on my G35x a few days ago. My front end feels different in a good way. It does feel more "planted" and more sure footed. I'm pleased with the result for a couple of hundred dollar mod. I'd install front and rear sway bars but I can't seem to find any that fit a AWD Sedan.

Well, the coupe middy is on and I have to tell you that I'm a bit disappointed. It's actually quieter than the sedan middy. ??? Even the girlfriend test failed miserably. She said, "Wow? You did all that work for that?" Hahaha! I guess I'll need to add and HKS or similar muffler, because I was looking for just a bit more sound. Actually it does sound a bit lower or throatier, but it's barely noticeable.... Anyone have any tips on how to get just a little bit more than stock sound? If for nothing else it was worth the effort for the weight savings and repainting the muffler, etc.
Fitment was dead on and I had no issues with clearance at all. I was able to grind down the exhaust hanger bar that is welded to the pipe so I could get just a bit more clearance for the 350evo sway. That worked perfectly! Overall the install was very easy, but a little more sound would have been nice. Pics to come.

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods

I put the coupe middie on last Sunday and initially had the same impression as you do. However, after driving it for a couple of days and listening to the car in familiar surroundings I definitely notice more volume and a deeper, sweeter tone to the exhaust.
I also had to get new tires, the old ones made a hella lot of noise.
HKS will be on next weekend!!

Please submit feedback on this if you don't mind. I'd be very interested in what you have to say about it. The HKS is a bit pricey though.

After driving it a little more today, I do notice the tone is a bit throatier for sure, but not the volume I was looking for. Are there any other bolt on mufflers besides the HKS that you all would recommend? So the HR Ypipe or the 03/04 what???
You can see in the pic by grinding the hanger mount I gained about 1/2 inch of clearance now. I feel better about the 350evo sway now, even though I don't think it was an issue before.

After doing some more research, it looks like the HKS muffler is going to give me the exhaust note I'm looking for. Apparently there are some brackets I have to get too. (For 05-06's.)
Hanger Parts to fit G35 HKS Muffler for 05-06.
Part numbers:
INF 08146-8252G x2
INF 20651-AF400 x 1
INF 20742-AF400
So the DSpecs will have to wait a bit longer because I wasn't planning on dropping $400ish for a muffler.
Also, as a side note, I have the coupe springs now. Just wainting on the 350z springs to arrive.

I am glad I changed to the coupe middie.
Here's a vid of wannabe's set up.
I got a quote from Riverside Infiniti for the 03-04 bracket and rubber hangers shipped for $52. Local dealer wanted $80 haha.

I click on the link for the EVO rear sway bar and I did not see it. Anyone know where else I can buy one from?

I always wonder why noone has requested a company to make a set for the X.
