Anyone painted lower sills?

I got mine done at a body shop I'm on good terms with, the manager said my best bet would be to deal with the painter directly, instead of running it through the shop. I'm happy with the results: $200 for all the sills AND the entire rear bumper. Only another $100 to do the roof in black. Best $300 I've spent yet!

Definitely get an adhesion promoter for plastic. It will also serve as your primer. I also strongly suggest reading my DIY and understand the correct way to prep the plastic. It must be clean and there are ways to test it to make sure it truely is clean. Removing the side sills only takes a few minutes. I suggest removing them so it's easier to prep and paint.

What about the paint?
I'm going to buy basecoat and clearcoat paint at paintscratch.com.
I attached order page of paintscratch.com
I'm going to use bulldog adhesion promoter,
so all I need are only basecoat and clearcoat Spray Can?
how many cans are needed to cover all lower sills?
and what else are needed for painting?
the site recommends to buy Rubbing Compound Bottle, Acrylic Lacquer Thinner, and Wax and Grease Remover with paints.
are they needed?

Dude, before you go there, have you at least tried to find a painter to do it? I mean my painter did all the sills AND the rear bumper for $200. He would have probably done sills only for $100 maaaabe even less, and it looks like you're getting close to that for rattle cans!
