Haha, yeah it probably was abused, but I abuse it too so either way it doesn't matter. I floor it constantly especially on the highway, and it can't be good to put all that stress on the engine.

Just to further the matter, the previous owner debadged the 'g35' logo. I guess he thought the weight reduction would make it faster. To be honest with you, I'm surprised the car's windows aren't tinted 100%, headlights aren't purple, wheels aren't 22" rims, and isn't lowered with a cracked front bumper.

Its all good! I bought my G35 used, mine was bone stock when I picked it up and now its debadged, the windows are tinted 100% (pics already posted), cracked the front bumper and replaced with the areo...

I wouldnt say I abuse my G but I do get on it any real chance I get, and since I installed a z tube and jwt pop charger I cant get enough!

Anyways, congrats on the new ride and since that switch isn't hooked up to anything I would take it as an opportunity to install something aftermarket and use the switch since it's already installed ....

The engine on this car is pretty solid, so I wouldn't worry about stressing it. Other components, like brakes and suspension, will wear out faster from hard driving than the engine will.

And the previous owner probably sold all that stuff and returned it to stock before you bought it. At least that's what I'd do.

That definately isn't anything from KPtechnologies - all of our stuff is OEM integration. That is without a doubt an aftermarket switch. With it being a toggle switch I would doubt it has anything to do with VDC. My guess would be it has something to do with fog lights, or some other form of light control.

Its for the flux capaciter.

All seriousness though, it probably worked some lights or something. And i wouldnt say i abuse my car either, just get on it from time to time. I am always worried about my transmission. I dont trust transmission. Always afraid its gonna break if i floor it or something.

Hey AntiPD - just because someone likes rock stations does not mean they abuse their car. That is such a stretch. I love rock, and I am from the 60's and take very, very good care of all my sh-t.

I listen to rock - but have also been known to listen to Jazz, classical and blues... if you got in my car, you'd find Jazz, classical and blues stations...

hmmm... do I baby the car, or foster the spirit of all that is fast and fun!??? Maybe the CDs would give it away Infectious Grooves, Primus, Alice In Chains, Dave Navarro, Velvet Revolver... yep, cruisin' music

Actually, all I really listen to is am radio - to find the traffic reports so I can get past all the jack@ss' that cause delays... okay, I guess I'm givin' away my driving style now ~

From the 60's huh, well grandpa let me explain that my definition of rock is probably completely different than yours. My comment about the radio stations was a joke. (and the one about you being old too)
