After 6 months of running on bald tires, got new ones.

Finally my dad got new tires and installed. But I don't know I think my dad went cheap? I had turanza and now he switched to Nexen? I don't know, do any of you guys run that? Are they any good? any good reviews? Becaues im looking online to see if I can find reviews and the site doesn't even have them!! Makes me think my dad just got like bootleg tires from the one dollar store lol.

Nexen are on the low end of tires, but honestly if you just use your car as a daily driver and aren't doing anything too aggressive with it, they'll be absolutely fine for your purposes.

What model tire are they?

I have heard bad things about the....5000? but the 3000 and 7000 are supposedly pretty good.

They are korean made and pretty much the cheapest on the market along with some cheap kumhos.. Good chance he got them at wal mart.

I've never understood why people wait too long to replace tires and brakes. Even crappy tires are better than bald tires, but I don't skimp on tires either (you don't have to spend $300 per tire to get good tires either).

I also don't know why you have a G35 but your Dad is buying tires for it. You should have chipped in to get better tires, at the very least. No freaking way I would have had a G35 as a car when I was a kid. Not hating, but jeez.

I am very confused by the OP, if I understand correct, you drive/own/lease a g35 but you cant afford tires for it? and since you cant afford tires for it you had to wait for 6 months for your father to purchase them for you? and now that you have tires you are trying to find out if they are any good? WHISKEY TANGO FOXTROT How old are you?

Most likely it's his dads car and the OP just has some fun modding it? Doesn't seem too odd of a scenario to me.

woah woah lol I'm getting crapped on now. Lemme explain, im a 17 yr old college student, my dad bought me a g35 sedan for a good price because he works at nissan as a mechanic. He gets hookups and what not. I cannot touch anything because he doesn't trust me or anybody doing it for me, plus he does it for free (obviously). I told him I would get the tires and he told me had some at work for me, so yeah.

Yeah man dint jump down his throat.. At least his dad didn't buy him a brand new one.. He is in college and nowadays it's tough to do school and have a good enough car to get back and forth, that's one of the reasons I stopped going my car took a crap on me and I was broke..

I have some in the rear 245 35 20. Not the best tire, but does the job. break loose easy, but then again traction control always kicks in. Got them for 150 each installed and balanced.

see i dont get this?
why when something is badly made they blame the "chinese"?
nexens is made in korea! get your facts right before telling the op anything!

but yeah, back to the op.
nexens arent that bad, just the 5000.
even if it's korean made, it's still good, look at hankook tires, they're awesome.
but yeah, even though you're 17 and goes to college, doesnt mean you can't help your dad pay for it. i had my g35x when i was 17 also, when the first 2004 model came out, i paid straight up 40k for it with taxes on the first day. damn... 5 years already. lol.
next time, get a job and pay for your own stuff if you're driving it everyday.
it's not fair for ur parents to pay for anything.
