Battery dead or alternator or ?? raining issue.

so my 2003.0 sedan didnt' want to start this morning. It finally started after about 6 tries with the last try my foot was on the gas pedal. i'm sure it had something to do w/ the rain.

all start ups after that has been fine.

is this a battery being bad, dirty cable connections, alternator..?? thanks for any help.

Go to your local auto parts store and ask them to check your battery. It sould be free.

Could be a loose MAF sensor connection or dirty throttle body. Check both.

Might be out of blinker fluid.
Could you tell us a little more detail on "didn't want to start" ? Click? no click? turning over but not firing off? slow dead battery sounding turnover? etc...

most common cause is the battery is going bad. if you heard a clicking sound when turning the key, it would be the starter

there is a string of clicking or ticking noises, no turning over.... also, all my radio preset/memory buttons are gone? battery issue i suppose?

so this morning, it started perfectly since it was dry the whole night.

thanks everyone for your help so far. i'll probably just end up checking the battery this weekend.

Sounds like a bad connection to me. Make sure the cables are tight. Did any of the lights flicker?
