Wink What mod to do FIRST?

a bit different.

only budgetted for on mod right now. ($400 max). Which to do? Want a bit more growl/touch deeper exhaust note at daily driver speeds (not WOT) and performance grunt

HFC/Test Pipes?
Motordyne XYZ
HKS Rear Section

already have z-tube/KN drop in and plenum spacer to come.

the most noticable sound wise is prob going to be an axle-back or cat-back. performace wise would be a plenum i think.

Test pipes, no....it's just going to make it sound raspier. HKS rear, will sound nice, buuuut I dunno, for almost 400 I'd look into something else. I'll be getting a new muffler next week (long as its in stock) and I'll post sound clips if you're wanting to wait till then.

I truly think exhaust is the way to go. If you want a cheap solution, take out the muffler and replace it with a straight pipe and add a tip. I did that and it cost me $60 and it was nice and deep, louder than HKS and I got many compliments. I had it paired with a coupe midpipe as well. I'd recommend a resonated tip, it's slightly less loud, but it eliminates rasp at WOT.

Drop IMO lol

HKS, then save up for HFCs. That will give you a bad *** sound.

OR

Get the HFCs now and wait for motordyne to release the dual out exhaust. Unless you're into the MD single out, I know a lot of guys aren't.

Drop is always good, but I think it's best to go with coilovers over springs....the ability to adjust height, say if you get a kit or something is helpful and the dampening is a great benefit. At that point you're looking at about 1k :/
