how i got my G35 sedan...
i figured i'd put a thread asking people how they got there G sedan's cause the 1 year of my accident is coming up soon so i figured i'd share. So at about 6:30 in the morning im driving to work in my 03 volvo s80 turbo, i had just put the intercooler and bov on it like a week before and some jerk off thats parked on the side of the road without any notice of a blinker or a look over the shoulder decides to u-turn in front of me and i had no time to react i slammed into him (and because the volvo is "the safest car on the road") i went up and over his hood and air born into a brick wall putting me halfway through the winshield after 2 days in the hospital i was a little sore but good as new thank god. to make my long story short my beautiful s80 was totalled and the ***** that was driving his hunk of junk 94 camry suffered the same fate. Come to find out the 56....yes i said 56 year old driver only had his license for 4 years...eh oh well with a wad of cash i set out to get my 2003 G sedan and the same week got my stillenintake and cat back exhaust and rims and so on...so just wondering if anybody else had a funny or unique story on how they got there G. share the stories lol...

After maintaining a '95 Dodge Avenger for 10 years, I had to leave my wife for a few months, and didn't want her with an unreliable vehicle. Bought her '06, and when I decided the '95 Avenger wasn't worth keeping, I went out and found a 6MT Sedan to replace it.
I still think the Avenger's a beautiful (underpowered) ride, but parts were getting hard to come by to keep it in great shape.

I had a 99 Honda Civic Si. I kept it super clean and then I get into an accident. After the accident I of course made it better than before. After a series of bad lucks (racing seat almost severed my fingers, front lip ripped off, some kind hit and run me while it was parked) I finally became fed up. I started looking online and wanted a more "baller" car. I was 19, just made sales manager and had a big chunk of change sitting in my pocket.
Reserved a car that was priced right and went on my way to the dealer with my civic. Of course the crooks sold my car while I was on the way even though we had a negotiated deal. He offered me another in a different color (DP instead of BS), premium and nav. I didn't want to pay $3000 more so we basically met half way. He upped the agreed trade in value and I walked out with a fully loaded G instead.
5 years later, never looked back

after my old car had transmission issues, and the cost to fix it was more than the car's worth, i set out to finding a new car. looked everywhere for a good price for a good car but either its too small, to slow, ugly, or poor reliability. the 2006 Infiniti m35x was everything i wanted, but due to price, i picked up a g35x. thats how i ended up here lol. im glad that i went g35 way cuz its noticeably faster. i dare say i test driven about 15 cars to find this one

I wrecked my 94 Trans-Am due to wet roads (not entirely my fault as I was trying to avoid something in the road) replaced that with a 2000 Trans-Am WS-6
Wrecked the 2000 driving too fast around a curve (yes, entirely my fault. + acting like a child)
Then I decided it was time for something a little less sportscar, but I was not willing to give up RWD. It was either a G35 or IS300. Really happy I got the G35 (though I was leaning more this way than the IS anyway )

I had a bought my first new car in 2004, it was a 2005 2.5 Altima. I couldn't afford the 3.5 at the time. About 2 year later the lack of power and seeing the G35's on the road made me want want REALLY bad but I just could not afford it. So I fixated on getting a used 3.5 and my girlfriend thought I was crazy for buying a car that looked the same but had more power. I then got a large raise at work and immediately went out, traded in the Altima and got a 2006 G35 Black on Black.
