New to the forums

Hey everyone,

So i'm new to the forums, but I've had an 03.5 Sedan 5AT Premium package (Black/Willow) for a year and a half now. I bought it at an auction for 7k with 127k miles on it, now has 147k. The radio/hvac didn't work, so I went aftermarket with a Pioneer headunit/iPod adapter in center console. (wayyy better sound quality). I hardwired my V1, tinted it all the way around, cleared the bumper lenses (black housing), 6000k bulbs in the headlights... and of course did the coupe midpipe modification. I'm absolutely in love with my G, but I want some opinions.

With the high mileage and wear on the car's front end (highway miles), I'm not sure if I want to continue spending more money on modifying the car at all... I just go a Co-Op position making great money.. alternating between there and school at Purdue.

What do you think? say eff it and keep doing little things that make me happy?

or keep saving for an 06 6MT sedan? ;-)

G35 sedan w/ too much money in mods
Keep saving. However, most of the mods you put on the 03.5 can be transferred to the 06.

I think it's just a matter of how soon do you want the new car!

at 147K miles, I would use the G as a commuter... its a real nice beater.

Save the money you would have spent on mods and put towards a different "play" car.

Either way, you'll enjoy the G

Welcome

I say save your money and get the 06 G Sedan 6MT... I just got one and LOVE it!

Most of the mods you have done you will be able to take over to your new G Sedan as well.
