I get the general gist of your comments but even the muscle cars run torque converter based autos at the drags. ie.. 700R and turbo 400s. IMHO even TC based autos shift at least as fast as a manual driver. A camry will shift soft but the speed of the actual shift is relatively the same. And as mentioned, a camry auto has a resistor based unit that ups the line pressure based on either pedal or rpm. Disconnect it and you get full line presssure all the time. haha

I like my 5AT. My Mustang's are manuals, but when i get back into my G35 I love the fact that i can prop my left leg against the door and forget about it and just cruise........hell yeah

But how are you going to race my automatic G, and beat me in a manual G when you own an automatic G? You don't own one...
