i have a bunch of creaking too and i have sedan with 65000+ on it.. creaks when turning up ramps (guessing compression rods by what eeryone alwasy says), but also sometime when i just get up out of the car (and no im not a fat ***, but im putting in newer z springs soon so maybe that will help it).. i also hear this faint almost metal rattling noise when im going really slow, but i think it goes away when i start accelerating, maybe i only hear it when im going slow enough that the engine doesnt drown it out, but i think it goes away.. kinda weird. i have to have the window open to hear it, it sounds like its coming from the engines area but doesnt get louder with it. ive heard it for a while, maybe its just the way infinitis sound? (kind of like how old chevys make that high pitched noise when their just chillin). so yea dude i know what you mean, it sucks.. anyone know what any of these other noises are to help us out

 

the faint metal rattling is probably a heat shield for the y pipe or some other part of the exhaust

 

so nothing to worry about for now?

 

I dont know without seeing it I guess.. I would just get under the car partially from each side and bang the exhaust and see if it rattles or not.. <--I know how that sounds but oh well..

 

So weird..I just started hearing this tonight. Everything that everyone has mentioned I hear. I do want to say to the poster who hears creaking when getting out of car, next time don't set the E--Brake then get out, see if you'll hear it then. I have the same problem and I think there's a problem with E-Brake cable needing adjustment or something.

With that said, I'm not sure if that sound is related to what the OP is hearing.

 

^word ill give that a try and see if it does it or not, surprising though i havent heard it in a little while anyways, so i might have to wait to test it out. thanks for the info

 

try slightly rolling the rear windows down,if the noise goes away then you need to buy the updated rear window regulator bolts from infiniti. This creak noise happens every time you take off,slow down,flex the body,etc. It will drive you up the wall. These 4 bolts will take care of this noise which is a very common problem. Hope this helps you guys out somewhat...
