Gear for 2005 G35 sedan?

Anyone have a spare gear for the power seat? Mine is stripped and only one side of the seat tries to move.

I bet you can find a used gear from a "part-out" in the classifieds.

Do I need to disconnect the battery before I replace the motor and gear on my passenger side?

unplug and unbolt the seat and do it outside of the car in a clean well-lit area.

I've got the TSB for the seat rocking issue that shows how to take the seat apart...and also the service manual. Any special tools I'd need?
