in my opinion EVERY car has it's flaws. No such thing as a perfect car. Not even Lexus ( i know, i used to work at Lexus for 3 years) and definitely not BMW (where i work now)

^ How is it that BMWs are like the best cars in the world and the worst cars in the world all at the same time???
Ok, not the worst. Too much crap out there to take that title. But you know what I mean.

BMW is my "hate car"

I refuse to ever purchase one or ever consider purchasing them. If i ever win the lottery, first thing I'm doing is buying the sickest M6 around, and then proceed to beat the living snot out of it with a baseball bat and set it on fire.

Great performing cars..don't get me wrong...but I hate them with a passion.

Because a BMW is kinda like a hot girl with a bad attitude. You love her but hate her at the same time..and oh..she's high maintenance too but yet you still want her...lol..

It's kinda like batman where he he fell into the cave and got scared by the bats....and then grew up with a strong dislike towards them.

The real story is kinda personal, but same lines. I grew up hating the brand.

So as a child you fell into a cave full of BMWs? Oh man. That would have scared me too!

WOW 5 pages, def did not read past post 8... Either way my 2004 G35X has been a GREAT car since I have owned it! In just over a year I have put 50,000 miles on it, at a grand total of 85,000 miles. Only problems I have had are the CD changer which is still broken but I use the tape deck player and my ipod. The fog/brights burned out (easy fix) also had the axle tick but after a visit to the dealer it was fixed no charge and other than normal maint. nothing else. I am up in North Dakota, about an hour from Canada. Temps as low as -40*F, the car runs great. I have drove from ND to CA non-stop many times and have not had a single problem. Infiniti definitely has won me over, the car is rock solid reliable especially for the extreme conditions and abuse it goes through. As for squeaks and rattles thats a different story.

Electrical issues have been nil aside from the radio unit, but I had plans to change that out from the beginning anyways cuz I hate stock stereos.
160k here, both front windows are pretty much dead. squeaks EVERYWHERE, but i can't fault infiniti for that, added SPC camber kit, shocks/springs, but the stupid bushings/compression rods are sqeakier than ever!!

oh and the power seats are dying as well
