This is an old thread, but not the first time I've read that people are unhappy with R1Concepts. Worth a read if you're considering them.

I have had their cross drilled and slotted premium rotors for 2 years with no problems.

Basically read it and make your own decision.. I understand both sides but if it were me and I had good service I would've just painted the rotor

I don't have a prob with people using them. They look good. Even i have a set for my Mustang.
I just have a prob when people think swiss-cheesing your rotors is an "upgrade". When i take my Mustang autoXing, i remove the Xdrilled rotors and run a set of Brembo blank-face rotors.
People should spend less time worrying about how many holes or grooves their rotors have in them and more about the quality of the steel used to make the rotors. Does anyone ever ship a material cert with their rotors? Nope.

I recently learned about Centric rotors and did a little research on them myself before buying a set from Tirerack for my Mustang along with some Hawk HPS pads. I have been very impressed with them so far and if I ever need rotors for another car I will be buying the Centric rotors again. They were very affordable and have performed well on my Mustang.
