I see. Well then yeah yours seem to be in worse shape than mine. Mine seem to have all those teeth and the socket just glides.

On my commute back home the wipers continue to work super smoothly so it's almost like that grease I applied yesterday helped. I'll see how long it lasts; best test will be when we get snow.

It's a rewarding feeling and you get the confidence to do more things yourself.

Dealer wants this plus tax - help me out as I bought them and did not need them.

I had a link on a complete wiper motor, linkage (the entire assembly) - so I swapped out the entire section rather then just replacing the linkages.

Selling the new linkages because Infiniti would not take the parts back as the packaging is opened and there are marks on the white ball showing I installed them. I explained I took off my originals and put the new ones on to see if there was any play - but then decided to swap out to complete assembly with another and just didn't need the new linkages.

Figured it would be a good deal for those that have these stripped teeth on their linkages.

Also, I have a spare wiper motor / transmission piece for $50 obo + shipping (slightly large and somewhat heavy)

What is the estimated shipping time to Los Angeles from Canada? I'm going up to the snow in 10 days and I need it asap.

thats the wiper fix i posted up. There is a similar detailed version here..
https://g35driver.com/forums/g35-sed...ping-hard.html

The plastic rivets are designed to break under excess load so that it doesn't ruin the motor. Its actually a smart design considering it saves you the $400 motor by buying the little link assembly.

FIXED!!!!!

Infiniti of Thousand Oaks delivered the lower link along with the clamps and bolts to tighten the plastic cover. Me and my buddy were able to finish everything in about 30 minutes and the wipers are working like a dream.

Oh, and we did tighten the water hose and now the water is barely coming out so tomorrow we need to fix that up

Thank you all very much for your time and advice. I really appreciate it
