Another new buyer thread!
^Drive to Advanced Auto, they'll read and clear it for free. I've never run the G35 without the MAF, obviously it doesn't like that. With my Trans-Am I used to play a game where I would see how many sensors it would run without. MAF, MAP, IAT all unplugged and you still wouldn't know it if not for the SES light
On your list of things to do today, see if you can figure out what's up with your front tag cover. Looks like it's sticking out more than it should in the pics.

^ Good idea, maybe I'll just run to town to Advanced or AZ. AZ has told me before that they are not allowed to clear codes, just read them, but I'll give it a try.
I noticed that tag cover, too, and popped it back in place a few times but it keeps popping out. Maybe the bolts underneath are too snug or there's a little adjustment to it. I'll check that out.

I pretty much got my list completed. Cleaned MAF and throttle body, all the relearns, put in K&N panel filter, and a little WD-40 in the seat belt latch and it's all good again. The spark plugs are originals I'm pretty sure...NGKs with a fair amount of white build-up on them, but the one I pulled came out easy. I'll be doing those very soon.
Kid at AZ erased the codes after my goof. For reference, I started the engine with the MAF unplugged and it gave codes for MAF and IAT.
