Maybe buy a coupe midpipe. You can find one used very cheap or new for about $220 I think.

Definitely the coupe mid pipe...some say its actually deeper than the coupe sound. I havent done a side by side. But I absolutely love mine.

It's mostly muffler. The coupe midpipe, or Magnaflow resonator for that matter, merely deepens the tone and leaves it only slightly louder. It's a better sound IMHO but nowhere near to tone or rasp of the coupe, which I also find intoxicating. I really haven't heard anything yet that gives the sedan that sound.

I have the MagnaFlow res and I find it both cool and annoying at times. It's much louder than stock at 1-2,000RPM. It sounds like a coupe from the outside, but I love my GF's coupe sound so much more than my MagnaFlow resonator.

so how loud is it with the midpipe, i don't want it loud because my last car was way toooo loud,

Hey Cook, my Borla and XERD Test pipe's sound like a coupe but 100x louder with all of the rumbling, growling at higher rpms and everything, it sounds exactly like the coupe but much louder. I'll take some sound clips, and the burbling while downshifting is sick too

It's not loud. I personally cant tolerate really loud exhausts...I mean I like the way they sound but it draws too much attention when you get after it. To me its more of a tone change. It may be *slightly* louder but it just sounds more throaty, more aggressive, with no rasp. I particularly love it between 1 and 2krpm. It has the V8 deep tone quality. Put it this way if you get it and don't like it (which I doubt) I'm sure someone here will buy it from you.

coupe midpipe on the sedan sounds better than the coupe exhaust IMO....deep throaty growl...sounds like a V8!
