DIY. Installing h4 foglights kit on 1st gen sedan

Looking for a diy on a first gen sedan to install the h4 fogkit. I believe you have to drop the front bumper

Are you trying to change the h4 bulbs in the headlights or add an aftermarket foglight kit?

you can just pull the fender liner back and cut the wheel all the way.

i think he is trying to do aftermarket HID in the factory foglight housing

Yea trying to swap out those ugly halogens. I was told I need to drop the bumper to install the hid ballasts

it really depends on where you want to mount the ballasts.

taking off the bumper and taking of the headlights lets you work on it easily.

Depends on where you put the ballasts. I've seen some guys put them under the hood and then just run the wires to the lights.

I guess where you put them depends on how clean you want to make it, but i'd also want ot keep it away from water.
