would you trade your g35 for a fx35?

If i was going to go the 4X4 SUV route, but still sporty and fast, i would definitley skip the FX and go for a Trailblazer SS. LS2 6.0, tons of mod potential, lots of space, leather/bose /sunroof, AWD, and can tow 6600lbs.
If i had to get an SUV, thats what i'd get. I want it to be able to tow our boat in the summer, and thats something you cant do with an FX.
I'v contemplated that choice many times, but i love my fun sporty cars.
Oh if only i could afford both

Would *I* trade *my* g35 for a fx35? No... however:
If I was in your position, I would def consider it. FX35, or maybe the FX45. A friend of mine had a Murano, it was a great vehicle to make trips in. Cargo room and very comfortable on the road. I can only imagine the FX is better.
To elaborate on the dilemma, I am in need of a bigger vehicle that offers little more room vs my current g35 sedan. I love my g35 but often times i discover
trunk space limitations where i have to make additional arrangements to accommodate its less than amble trunk space. On a recent short trip with my g35, I had to make constant adjustments where I grew tiresome and frustrated. So in planning to stay within the Infiniti family, I was leaning toward the fx35 since it shares same attributions as the g35 sedan...

I am extremely happy with the change, I love my FX and actually get more positive comments and people notice it more then my G35 sedans.
I would do it again.

Here are a couple of FX sites where you can do a bit of research. Lots and lots of info there.
My favourite site is this one: http://www.infinitiscene.com/

I had an 07 FX35 w/tech package and FX's have some ups and downs to them
UP's- I have yet to drive another SUV that handle like the FX so it can still be fun to drive(I have driven or owed everything from Porsche Cayanne and X5 to YUKONS and Navigators)... Its a great lookin vehicle that always get attention ... the 35 is fast enough for most but if that enough for you, you may wanna hold out for a 45 (go to carmax and test drive both if you havent already)..... back up camera (if it has it) will spoil you, GREAT FEATURE ...
DOWNS- cargo space is limited (other than groceries and small furniture you may have to call somebody with a real truck).... if you are tall (6' or taller) WATCH YOUR HEAD GETTING IN .... it actually doesnt sit up that high so if that's what your looking for you may be disappointed ....... you cant change the factory headunit (thats just me - I dont like factory headunits from anybody BUT the BOSE does make it a lil betta then ok)
Overall I loved the vehicle BUT the wife wanted a BMW645 so the FX had to go ..... hoped that helped.

It's funny because I always think of whether I should have gotten the FX instead of the G. I've never sat in an FX though nor know the performance specs against the G. Now that it's winter, I'm leaning towards FX to answer your question. Now, the real question is G vs. M! The new M's look better than the G's IMO. It looks more aggressive, the G's became too round and curved for me. Both still look amazing, I think its a harder choice though.
