Yet another bad rep for penisula-and-oakland infinity.

They MISLED me about the factory warranty to sell me the extended warranty.

Although half of it was my fault for letting my guard down after negotiated the price of a 05 6mt coupe down to almost "dealer invoice" (that was hard work man).

I know I won't be coming to those 2 dealer for service.

Frontier Infinity in Santa Clara has been very nice to me so far. Cross my finger- bringing my car there for a malfunction rev warning light.

"a little"....no downside....but a lot could be big probs. It could cause the crank to foam the oil and cause the oil pickup to suck air.....no good.

If the level is about 1/2" over the full then your fine. Any more than that, you should drain out the excess.

The dealer actually has to proove that the modifications that are on your car are what cause the engine to fail. Plain and simple Cru, get a lawyer and have him send out a demand letter. I went through this with a past car when I blew my motor and they tried to say that DC Sport headers and an APEXi WS exhaust caused me to put a rod through my oil pan !

Thanks for your concern guys, even if it's three years later, lol.

UPDATE: I've put over 40k miles on my new long block with out any issues at all. Oh and I ended up replacing the Injen CAI with the Z-Tube/K&N filter combo shortly after the new engine was installed. Not because I thought the CAI had anything to do with my engine failure, but because I liked the Z-tube set-up better.
