Lighted sill plates

Has anyone installed the sill plates that light up the infiniti name on the inside trim? If so how much did you pay and how hard were they to in stall.

You know, I was wondering this exact same thing yesterday. I know they offer it as an OEM option on the new G sedans, I'm wondering if there is a way to retro fit. They have them listed as a $250. option. They have an "accent lighting" option too. Don't know exactly what all that entails but I think it would be just as cool lol.

Yeah, but I don't think I can justify blowing $250 for a set just to see if they'll fit. Probably would be a better idea to get an extra set of the same ones I have now and cut out the letters and place some kind of hazy clear plastic piece under it and a strip of LED's then wire it to the door lights.
Unless they have some cheap replacements on ebay...

I like that..a lot

Hmm...$300 though. I assume that is front only? Do the rear plates say INFINITI?

If anyone can find me a vector art INFINITI logo, I might be able to fab up something at work.

EDIT: N/M, found my old vector logo files.

Think I might do this with engine-turned finished sills.
