Depends on how much body shops in your area like to jack rates.
Shouldn't be more than a couple hundred though.

How long did it take for you guys who did paint there roofs? You had to leave the car overnight? (Sorry about the noobness, never had any body work done on a car *knock on wood*).

^Body shops are notorious procrastinators. So you'll have to leave it AT LEAST overnight. Try to make it seem like a rush, not before they give you a price though. Get a good price first, then tell them you can't be without a car for more than a day so they'll have to give you a time and then get it done. If you don't do a little pushing, a lot of body shops will just sit on a project for weeks if you let them.

I'd think it would take at least a few days....at least for a quality shop to do it. And that's if they start working on your car right away.

They'll have to prep by sanding first, then paint, let it set up, wet sand, and then buff.

I'd also expect a bill anywhere from $400 to $1000 depending on the shop and quality of work you want.

EDIT: At least that might be the figure in the northeast. I know southen shops tend to have cheaper labor rates so costs could be lower
