Lightbulb Pulstar spark plugs

Good day G35 drivers. This is my first post on this forum so dont flame me.

I have a 04 G35 sedan a day or two away from 100,000 MILES!

I'm pretty sure Its time to get the spark plugs changed and I have been looking into these new pulse plugs made by Pulstar. They are a little more expensive but like all plugs they claim an MPG increase as well as HP increase. I think they would be interesting to try if anyone has experience with them let me know.

Also I would appreciate any recommendations for a high end spark plug.

An import car magazine did a test on them and had a measurable increase in HP, but it was within the error range also. The editor was/is a member (IIRC) on here and posted the results. I thought about these, but heard about problems with the electrodes burning up and damaging engines in some cars. I decided to go with NGK iridiums.

I can't find the test, but here is some of the article.

Found it in a PDF:

Stick with either the stock NGK's or NGK Iridiums....ignore the gimmick plugs.

^^^^ +1,000 I posted the same thread when I needed plugs. I went with NGK instead of the Pulstar, they sound good on paper but all the reviews are nothing but bad. Go with NGK and have piece of mind the plugs aren't going to fail.

My cousin was thinking about getting these and I told him not to because they just seemed gimmicky to me. Didn't have any hard evidence they were crap though. Thanks for those articles and threads, I'll pass them along to him.

Any new news on these Pulstar plugs? are they worth the extra 30 dollars total and risk of semi new product? Im not looking to make my car super fast with the gains it claims but just something a little better.

I have heard bad things about then. Do a Google search. Not worth more than ngk platinum or iridiums for sure.
