i signed up for some local fourm for all kins of cars near me and posted something up in the nissan section for a 350z HR Y pipe and in 5 min i got a email and someone has a 2006 y pipe and he told me $30 ... so im going to go get it TODAY !!! is a 2006 a HR Y pipe ?????

 

no. He is probably selling the oem 350z Y pipe, not an HR. Then again, no idea without a link

That guy doesn't know what he's talking about. That is NOT and HR Y-pipe.

If he's so sure, tell him to send you a photo, I'll verify for you.

 

yea he is sending me a picture in a few min ... he told me if i come to him he will sell it for $20 and if me meet half way its $30 ... right when i get the picture i will post it up thanks 4DGS

 

ok well he called me back and so no its not a HR pipe ... how much does a HR Y pipe normally cost .. like $75 or more

 

75+ yea, You want to get a picture in almost every situation. The HR-Y pipe that everyone gets is from the 350z 07 and 08. Some people get the HR-Y out of the G37 but its thinner diameter. As well as the G35 sedan HR-Y pipe which is wrong type, and then there's another from a g35x I think? But yea you defiantly want to get a picture ha. I went through 8 people who said it was the correct HR-Y and it wasn't :O
