Tire size help, 19 BBS RSGTs

hey guys. I was currently running my BBS RSGTs with 245/40/19s. I was wondering if you guys can help with a different size tire. It seems a lil sluggish with them compared to stock, and not to mention very expensive to run all fours. They are 19 x 8.5 with a 43 offset. Im running an 06 sedan X dropped on coupe springs. Keep in mind the NJ potholes Thanks for the help!

It's slugging because you put 19s on.

What do you want to do? change your tires and make your car faster? That's not how it works...

i figured the rims were only 19 pounds and would probably be better for the car. and no, i know they arent going to make a car go faster. Just looking for opinions on different tire sizes. thanks

They have a higher rotating mass, it will always feel slower when the wheels get bigger.

But what do you want opinions on? You're not asking a question, do you want bigger tires? smaller tires? what?

i was looking to see what else people ran with 19s on. after checking out the X lowered suspension thread..looks like most people do run the 245 40s. I just thought maybe i could go with a different size since there are few options with 245s not to mention they are expensive as hell.

The only help is to get 18" wheels or look at the tire specs and get something that weighs less. My 245/45-18 Bridgestone RE760 Sports weigh 30 pounds each. A Conti Extreme Contact DWS only weighs 24 pounds.

If you want to go faster you need 18's. Tire sizes are cheaper than 19's as well.
