whats up everyone my names Vinny im 2o i just bought my G last month 2003 Obsidan Black sedan 5AT 65k miles from a family friend paid 9k cash nuthing wrong with the car he just bought a new BMW and wanted to sell it (lucky me) and seen u guys have alot of great information and even mentioned in modified magazine im not really looking for performance mods but that doesn't mean i wont though i chose the sedan because i had a G6 coupe and i felt it was a boys car and i wanted a mans ride i think the coupes aren't as classy but each to his own of course im looking foward to seeing the cars on the site and talking with everyone

i think i have pics if u look in my profile if there not let me know ill post them cars stock except tints my only plans are some nice 17" rims (dont wanna go big and affect the cars acceleration and preformance.) maybe swap out interior lights with LEDs and buy the 05-06 tail lights (not sure tho the stock ones are nice) any suggestions feel free to talk im all ears

my first question is a noob one but this is my 1st post so dont shoot hahaha i tried searchin and couldnt find an answer but what is a Plenum? i know someone selling a polished one for like 150 and it looks good for shows.

 

plenum is the same thing as a manifold.. upper plenum is basically your upper part of you intake manifold and the same as the bottom.. its just different in ways.. go bigger than 17s.. coupes come factory with 19s and my sedan came with 18s..

ya i had a grand prix before this modded out and i ended up driving my friends G cause he was drinking and wanted to go to the store i fell in love with the carribean blue coupe and got denied on my load (my credit scores in the 700's most likely my age) but i was so upset i just started taking ever hour i could at work saved up they sold the one i wanted and i test drove a silver sedan but silver wasnt my thing and i seen the black my fathers friend was selling and i couldnt resist its paid off and i paid the insurance for the year i couldnt be happier car is amazing

 

Welcome. Black out all the chrome and get 05 tails and tint em GTR style with the red circles. Cops won't bother you and drop the car :-) don't bother with plenum, just get a motordyne plenum spacer

Welcome to the site. I've also got an 03.5 5AT OB sedan. I've done a few things to it.. but if you're going to go with rims... go bigger. At least 18s if not 19s. I have the M45 Sport 19s and they're gorgeous.. especially with a subtle drop. I also agree, do the plenum spacer as your first mod.. it's an excellent upgrade. There are 1,000,001 things you can do to these cars.. so I hope your wallet is prepared
