I was also debating adding a small LED to possibly the cup holder region as well. Where you slide the door open. I would mount it towards the rear so it was not visible but had a very low light glow when opened.

We shall see just an idea! The overhead console I am going to move fwd with.

Yes its a W8 and where I got the idea originally from. I know alot of cars offer this now, But I first saw it on a VW and did the W8 console swap to my last car.
MKIV Jetta VR6 GLX

Ill keep you guys posted still trying to hunt down a spare overhead console to modify.

2006 sedan with sunroof part number 26430-AC560

The 2006 has a slightly deeper sunglass holder
