So either like the above pic or recessed like OEM VW posted earlier.
They need to be recessed, they shouldn't be red, and I'd only put one of them in, and in a different location. Blue is a better choice for color, but any cooler color works (green, purple, etc.). Warm/hot colors like red, yellow, and orange are too bright, and we've got enough hot colors with that damn OEM orange. Blue's much more subtle, and is invisible duing the day. My Mazda CX-7 had a blue ambience light and it was just bright enough to see down onto the center console, which I thought was perfect. I'd probably center it between the UP and CLOSE words.

The color would be amber like OEM... I have seen the blue in Mazda & Acuras but that went with matching the OEM illumination in the car. My VW had red to match the red.

I wont be doing red but an OEM amber and definitely just bright enough for AMBIANCE not really bright at all. Will turn on when lights are on only not in the day time.

My wifes 06 Odyssey has amber/yellow. It is not obtrusive and gives a nice glow.

I love the lights, but im really trying to fit one of the 3 button homelink transmitters in that same space. Anyone have a totaled I30 or I35?
