Tail Light tinting

At 60' you could yell out the window "STOP!" and it would be cool. Really 500' isn't that bad. Only when the sun is shining in your eyes is it hard to see them, but almost everything is hard to see when the sun is in your eyes.
The alcohol law is crazy, it is 2010 and we still have stuff like this on the books.

Yes, I've tested this as well...
When you get paid to deal with transportation compliance - these things are first instinct.

Arguing the letter of the law aside, I have been behind plenty of cars with tinted taillights so dark they are hard to see. True they may technically be legal in some states, but the reduction of light output can be obvious in some situations.
But you car, your choices. One might think their lights are bright enough...but you arent the one driving behind you. There are a lot of dumb people on the road that are blind. Legality aside, I don't really like tinted tails personally. I think the trend is so widespread that it cheapens the car. First their were plastic taillights blackouts, then came clear lenses, then next was altezza lights, now tinting lights seems to be the fad of the moment? What comes next?

And yes, I've driven behind my car.
