Tail Light tinting

Hey just thought I would share a pic of my tail light tint job I had done. I opted for the painted lenses instead of the film. Since this pic I have also shaved the emblems except for the main logo since there are 2 tiny holes behind it. I am also going to black out the chrome accents on the car. Not a typical gloss black or flat black though, I am going with a Black Chrome look. Pics up soon of that.

Looks great man, glad you went the right way with them. Nothing looks as good as paint when it comes to tint.

IMO i think black lights cheapen the look of the car. but to each his own.
Does the blacked out lights pose some sort of a driving hazard? How well can the driver behind you see the brake lights !?!??!?

Georgia Law says the lights have to be visible from 500 feet away. These easily fall within the law. I have 240sx with blacked out lights and I have gotten pulled over for it. However even tho those lights are darker than the G I still was within GA law. If you get pulled over for it just ask the cop to measure out 500 feet and prove that the lights are not visible. Most will give you a warning.
Gangsta: I removed the i-n-f-i-n-t-i and the G35 emblems. The rear logo has a couple small holes behind it so I left it on there. I did black chrome it, as well as the grill and grill logo.
Gnightsedan: Thats cool, I like the way it looks, it is less of a luxury look and more of a sport look. It just sets my car apart from the rest of the G's rolling around town. I have noticed a lot more looks though.

I wouldn't of done the front grill unless I was willing to do the headlights as well (i have a silver 4door) but i really like the black chrome emblem. I'm torn on getting my tail lights done because I don't need the added cop attention on what is already definitely illegal tint but damn if it doesn't look good
