I've searched through the forums long enough...please help.

I need to replace the main headlight bulb on my 2003 G35 Sedan and the dealer quoted me $195 for the HID Xenon. eBay has posted items for $35. The dealer warned me about different temperatures and the headlight assembly melting due to cheap replacements.

Can anyone please let me know of a less expensive option that works?

Also, to replace, do I need to go from the top or bottom of the car? I've seen different answers.

Tired of driving with a headlight out...
