How the hell do i reach fog lights (high beams)

hey i got new bulbs (high Beams) for my g and i'm trying to take these things out.. but i cant reach them... i don't have to take off bumper to change them do i?

^ Yep

If you turn the wheel all the way you maybe could do em, I took off my wheels and undid the fender wall, And it was easy as cake.

^^WHS It's easier if you remove the wheel as well.

Depends on how wide your front wheels are. There is no way for me, my wheels have to come off. Plus it just makes it easier.

i just dropped the bumper didnt take that long and made it easy to work on both of them

Did you then pull out each headlight assembly? Seems like a lot more work than jacking up the car and either turning each wheel inward or removing both wheels. Plus there's the whole paint scratching risk when you put the bumper back on. Even though it's still a giant PITA compared to other cars, going through the wheel well seems a lot easier than the bumper method.

i was going to crack them open and paint them but my dad saw me putting them in the oven and went crazy

Hehe, that was BY FAR the hardest part about painting mine, i.e. convincing myself to put them in the oven. But I figured so many people had done it without problems that I'd be fine, and I was right. It takes at least 4-5 hours to finish them, so plan it when he's out of town. The most important thing when painting them is taking your time, so if you're even remotely rushed, do it later.

only problem i ran into was undoing the clips lol!
anyhow i didnt jack up my car i care for my car i would never JACK it up.
just turn the wheel and u should be fine with plenty of room
