I got an 05 g35x with a full size spare tire(17"/ 215-55-17) under the trunk carpet.

Would a 19" oem rim fit under the trunk?
What about a 19" spare tire for the g37coupe?

I'm gonna put on aftermarket 19" on my car soon.
I do drive alot and take alot of long road trips.
If I ever need to put on the spare, I wouldn't want to mess up the awd system by running a 17" spare.
And I'm also going to upgrade my brakes to the akebono's. So I would definetly need a spare tire that would clear the akebono's.

you can but the tire in the trunk is like what 17x7??? so yes it will fit but you will have a bump cause the wheel is wider .. you can add some kind of spacers to the rear to make it all even like around 1-2'' im sure some other guys would chime in here and help out some more ... but hope my link can help out out a little more

Wow. How did I miss that search. Great info on that link.
But nobody talks about trying to fit a 19" spare tire under the trunk. I would think the coupes 19" spare wouldn't be wider than 8".

Anybody have any info on the g37 19" spare tire? How wide is it? It should be able to clear the Infiniti akebono's?

I have a M45 19" Full spare in my trunk. theres a slight bump but its barely noticeable. go for it. very handy in bad situations.

Can you give me more info on the m45 19" full spare. Like tire size and rim width?
Also is there a bump only in the middle of the floor in the trunk? I ask this question because I got the 4080 box(custom made enclosed box for a 12" sub) on the right side of the trunk. I wonder if it would fit with the bump in trunk?

Anybody have any info on 19" spare tires for the coupe? The black donut wheel?

as long as the outside diameter of the spare is the same as the other wheels wouldn't the AWD system be content? or is the width an issue as well? i ask because i plan on putting 235/50/17 on my X (and wondering if i would have to purchase 5 tires)

Correct. Outside diameter is all that matters.

As for the OP, any spare over 7 inches wide will probably leave a hump in the middle of the trunk. If you wanted it to be flat you could always buy or make an extra set of spacers to fit around your wheel. You would lose trunk space though.
