Have to replace my engine, couple questions.
I wouldn't. Just because it might be easy to do because the engine out, it's not a high failure part. It would be like saying, replace the rings because it's easier to do since the motor is out. Secondly, replacing the chain isn't a terribly easy process. And finally, if you're going to do it the right way, you should replace the tensioner, slack guide, chain guide, and tension guide. When it's all said and done, you're out about $300 to $450 depending on where you get your parts.

Well i will never no for sure why it happened, but i assume it is cause of the oil consumption problem. When i got the car i didnt know about it and the first couple oil changes the places i went to never mentioned it was short on oil. Well when i moved and took it to a new place in ny they said no where near enough oil cam out. that is when i started to research about it and joined this site. well once finding out about it i tryed to keep up on it but i believe the damage was already done.
what were the symtoms that the o-ring going out on the pump caused? leaking fluid everywhere?
The coolant starts to slowly weep out of the water pump cover.

easy and that much longer you have to go till you run into problems.
