Vibration when Braking

I'm experiencing serious vibration when trying to stop from high speeds, 80+ but it does not happen when its normal driving. I'm assuming that the rotors are getting warped. I did a brake job a year ago on the car, but the rotors were resurfaced.
Should I just buy some new rotors or is it because of the high speed. i had to slow down from 120 the other day and thought my wheels were falling off

Could also be a bent wheel. You can test for that by swapping the wheels front to rear and see if that changes the vibration during braking. It made a big difference when I replaced my bent wheel. I couldn't tell by looking at it that it was bent, but when it was spinning on the balance machine it was obvious. A bent wheel will be more noticeable up front.

Is it the whole car or do you for the most part feel it in the pedal and steering wheel?

Mine kind of does that a little but it's isolated to the pedal and steering wheel, I always thought it was the ABS doing it's job.

Rotors don't technically warp. It's uneven distribution of pad material on the rotar. For so e reason, the oem 05/06 rotors are prone to it more easily then other cars I drive/own. I know how to avoid it and managed to warp two sets of oem rotors

Either resurface again, or get new rotors. The "warp" comes from when you heat the pads and rotors up in am hard stop and then sit st the light allowing pad material to transfer to the rotors surface.

Yea, so would doing the short stops from 60 like new brakes help it go away? Mine is vibrating a tad.

mine vibrated when stopping when i put new pads on the car when i bought it but it went away im guessing that i just used brute force to clean out the rotor with my driving style

There is a method to try to remove the deposits

Or more likely a counter weight fell off. But if the wheel was unbalanced, you should feel the effects regardless of what you are doing.

EXACTLY! There is a StopTech "white paper" on their website. I think it's the one listed above.

I don't think its a lost weight or a bent wheel. The car is super smooth at all speeds except between 65-80 where there is a vibration. After 80 it smooths out again.

That's different. Warped rotors will vibrate all the way to a stop.

I would look at the wheels
