13 bucks for midpipe seals, is this right?

im just wondering if thats the going price for the seals for when i replace my midpipe, or should i reuse my current ones?
what did u guys do when replacing your midpipe?

Yea, 13 sounds about right. I think I actually paid around $16 for mine (highway robbery for little bits of metal. The ring gasket, the one that goes between the muffler and the midpipe, can't be reused because it is built to melt to provide a tighter seal kinda like welding.

Yea, I remember the metal crush ring to be about $15 at the Infiniti Dealer, $10 at the Nissan Dealer.

this, but shouldnt it be the same as the G? should just be the midpipe seal.

i will try my nissan dealer, but last time the nissan dealer was more expensive in some stuff than infiniti dealer

You can get the same things at Kragens, Pep Boys, or Auto Zone for a few bucks each. IMO, buying these from the dealer is like buying bolts or oil, etc... from them - these aren't car specific parts so you aren't getting anything special, but you're paying a lot more for them.

You guys are talking about these gaskets, right?





If so, these are universal parts. All you need is the size of the piping and bolt configuration. If you want to get fancy, you can choose the material too.

O you want the flat gasket, not the crush ring, I'm not sure how much I paid. We have the same gaskets as the 350z...

Uuuummmmm OK?

If you go to the Nissan Dealer you can buy the 350Z gaskets!!! Might be cheaper than Infiniti...

turns out the mossy nissan in my area charges more for their parts than my infiniti dealer O_O
