Batteries

Another thread this week, but my battery just failed its test, which wasn't a complete shock to me because the car died all winter long and i had to jump it multiple times.

So im in the market for a new battery.

I dont need anything super fancy (nothing light etc), but a good quality battery that can put up with the abuse of really damn cold winters (outside as of next year) and deal with my aftermarket sub/amps/speakers etc.

I was at sears tonight and almost bought a Diehard Gold B8 battery. But it was $104 and i wasn't sure if it was a good one or what you guys would recommend. So i put it back and i'll pick one up tomorrow if its one that you guys have used.

Thanks for any input!

I had the Diehard Gold in my maxima for about 8 years and it was great until my alternator died and took the battery with it.

All I use are die hard golds. Usually the last battery I buy as it outlasts the rest of my ownership of the car

I had a red-top in one of the TA's. No complaints... but I don't have to deal with the cold.
