ABS, Slip, VDC Off lights on. Help!
Actuator price is definitely in that range.
I had the same problem a few weeks back. Had a mechanic friend who has a basic diagnostic tool... plugged it in under the steering wheel and it showed a code which I looked up online. Front right speed sensor was gone. Replace with labour for $300. Problem solved.

This is actually pretty easy to check on the front wheels without any tester. Turn the wheel to the stop so you can check, jack it up, and shine a light at the abs sensor. if you see lots of debris or damage between the ring and the sensor, then you know which sensor it is.
Comparing all sensors will give you a pretty good idea of where the problem is. Obviously, it's far from fool proof, but it'll cost you nothing but your time

Anyone know how to reset the system???
You need to hook it up to one of those portable computers with the codes on them (I'm forgetting the name of this thing). My mechanic did it for free.
I still don't understand why people try to guess what is wrong with their cars. Pull the error codes from the ECU and you will know..
Randomly guessing isn't going to work most of the time.
Pull the code and you will know where to start fixing it.

I tried the pulling codes no codes. My ABS keeps running with the car off, I went to advance auto parts and its not throwing any codes the vdc off, slip, abs lights are all on. Does anyone know how to reset it? btw taking the negative batteryterminal off for 20 minutes does not clear it i dont think.

something like the autoenginuity reader with the extra enhanced nissan codes package.
This is what I have .....
I fixed it, I took it to advance and had it read by a reader that reads abs codes still nothing. He suggested i try LIGHTLY tapping the sensors by the abs and the abs with screw driver... well what do you know.. it worked like a charm.
OK looks like I will ahve to join the ABS problem club.
Car starts and runs great, but it seems that ABS light comes on and stays on when i drive in some rough, or not very smooth surfaces...bumps on the roads and all. When the light is ON, sometimes even slight breaking seems to engage the ABS to kick in (you know, that feeling of abs pumping breaks) I am lowered. Oh and once I turn the car off, it goes away. Break fluid is willed between empty and full.
Ran a diagnostic couple of month ago, but back then didn't have a problem...should i give it a shot again?

If this lights turning on in a bad road, or in acceleration - it's only breakin fluid level.
It must be a FULL, or some higher in 1-2 mm.
