Does this muffler fit on the 2006 sedan? also, do you need any additional brackets?

I am currently awaiting delivery of the identical exhaust ordered from B2 Auto designs in Florida.
You will require the 2005 Infiniti G35 sedan rear muffler bracket, which can be purchased at the following website http://www.g35parts.com/G35-2005-Sed...5exhstbrkt.htm
You will want to ensure that your package contains not only the mounting bracket but also the two rubber exhaust hangers and the hanger bolts. My mounting bracket did not include the hangers or the bolts, which subsequently had to be, shipped to me in Canada at the expense of the Scottsdale Infiniti which operates the everything g35 website.

That website says "Every HKS Sport exhaust system will include all necessary hangers, nuts, bolts and gaskets for installation" so I think I'm gonna order it and hope all is there. If not I'll use that link for the other stuff.

Check the exhaust sound thread above. As for all the bracket, only if you have on 03-04. O5-06 needs the 03-04 exhaust hanger or modify the stock one to fit correctly. HKS rear section is what I have and I love the sound.

The HKS Sports exhaust does not include the mounting bracket for 2005/2006 Infiniti G35 RWD sedans. You have to purchase the mounting bracket to install the HKS Sports exhaust correctly. The only aftermarket exhaust that does not require the Nissan mounting bracket is the Stillen Gen 2 exhaust system.

unless the shop sells you a package deal, the HKS itself does not come with the bracket and 2 rubber hangers. Teh bracket + rubber hangers are genuine nissan parts.

only 05-06 sedans need the brackets and rubber hangers, 03-04 sedans are direct bolt on.

 

The Bracket is $60 shipped from Riverside infiniti.

OP if you drive an 05-06 sedan you will need the 03-04 bracket, 2 rubber hangars, and 2 bolts. As previously stated if you have an 03-04 the HKS will just bolt right up.

Sorry for bumping an old thread.

I am looking for the 2005 infiniti g35 sedan rear muffler bracket, the link above only links to the stores website and not the part itself. I dont want to order the wrong part. Can somebody tell me the exact part number or whom I can contact? I tried to look up Rick/Riverside Infiniti/OC infiniti but none of his contacts listed on the forums work.
